and that includes our weekend in Rehoboth! That’s not to say we left early on Sunday . . . . we didn’t leave until after 5 PM!
I did forget to mention Smudge! Smudge is the newest addition to Linda’s household and what a neat Pug! Personality Plus! Smudge is over 11 years old, but you’d never know it! She is energetic and so cute and irresistible!
Guess who had the largest chair on the deck? Right! The smallest “person” on the deck! . . . . and did anybody complain? Of course not!! She was entirely too cute!!
Sunday morning was a laid back way to wake up. Linda (the guest) took a walk around the development and took in the sights, sounds (none!) and smells that a different environment offers! Camera in hand, of course, taking pictures as she walked. The above picture is Linda’s new place and the picture below is just a scene on the walk.
Jim and Linda (the guests) got up early and while Jim and Linda (the hosts) slept in, Jim (the guest) went to the store and picked up sweet rolls, bagels, cream cheese and orange juice for breakfast! We had the breakfast prepared when they woke up ~ complete with the Sunday paper! Jim (the guest) always prepares Sunday morning breakfast in Lancaster, no reason he shouldn’t do the same in Rehoboth Beach!
Continuing with the relaxing mode of the day, the chosen tour of the day was a drive down to the boat launching area. We watched fisherman try to catch fish, a jellyfish float by, and boaters cruise slowly-y-y-y out to the bay.
This Dog’s hero was probably Leonardo DiCaprio, because he’s “King of the World!”
Lunch was Pizza! We were told that no trip to the Rehoboth area is complete unless you have Grotto Pizza! Guess what? They were right!! This was undoubtedly the best pizza we have ever had! Ever in that area, don’t miss out on the pizza!

What makes it best? Who knows? The water? The cheeses? Who cares? It was delicious!! They even gave us a free pizza ~ but that’s another story! Customer Service is excellent, needless to say!
Jim and Linda (the guests) helped with a few chores around the house and left around 5:30 for the three hour trip home.
Which do you follow, the map or the GPS? We followed our instinct and Bingo! We were right! It was a combination of the two, actually!!
Home safe and sound by 8:30, just like the GPS predicted after a wonderful weekend!
