. . . well actually they were real turkeys ~ one brined and roasted the other deep fried! Both entirely different from each other and both delicious!
Dan dressed for the occasion and deep fried that ol’ turkey. . .
. . . and there’s nothing better than deep fried turkey skin!!
. . . and Marlene brined and roasted her turkey! Wow! two delicious turkeys!
Entertainment was provided by family and friends. Daughter Paige could still do cartwheels ~ I’m truly impressed
. . . and new friend Marlene tried! She really did, but . . . .
Marlene’s son, Jim, juggled lemons
and he gave Hallie lessons ~
Cooks, Marlene, Jim and Paige kibitzed in the kitchen . . .
While Pete and Hallie posed for yet another picture .

Hallie and Paige found time to clown for yet another picture ~
and then it was SHOWTIME!! Two different turkeys, two different green bean cassaroles, two different mashed potatoes, cranberries, candied yams, dressing, rolls, carrots, creamed corn, couple bottles of good Napa Valley wine and finished off with pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie, berry pie and apple crisp ~ and of course Wilbur Chocolate and a good Port!
Full tummies and “Blazing Saddles” on a DVD finished the evening!
Truly something to be thankful for!!

OMG!!!!! It looks like you had the best time ever… So did we
Love
Paige
